The Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) named Bruce Milletto one of its 20 “Coffee Luminaries,” and he appeared in Gourmet Retailer's 25th anniversary issue on the list of the 25 individuals who helped shape the specialty coffee industry.
Matt Milletto
Vice President & Co-Founder
Matt has 25+ years of experience in retail coffee, and is a partner and Vice President of Bellissimo Coffee Advisors. Matt started working as a barista in 1994, and has managed multiple coffee bars from start-up. He has personally trained more than 2,000 new coffee retail business owners and barista trainers/managers over the past decade at Bellissimo. He regularly speaks at Coffee Fest, the SCA, and other industry tradeshows.
Matt has sat on the SCA Training Committee for a number of years, and is a certified USBC barista competition judge. He is the founder of Barista Exchange and a head judge for the Coffee Fest Latte Art Competitions. Matt is a Past President of the Oregon Coffee Board and continues to serve on it.
Matt coordinates Bellissimo's individual and corporate consulting programs, and does most in-house consulting services with entrepreneur and corporate clients. In 2010, Matt collaborated with Bruce Milletto to open Water Avenue Coffee.
